Welcome to

our mission

We are teenage students seeking to help other teenage students. The eighth-grade leadership team, at Century Community Charter School located in the heart of Inglewood California, has decided to step up to the plate to provide necessary assistance to the families and teens affected by Hurricane Maria. Our goal is to raise $25,000.00 in order to bring some normalcy back to an island and people in need.
MAS INTERGRATED SCHOOL MASIS
MASIS is the first school we have come in contact with since the start of this project, and in many ways much like our school as a very united community. The head of the school gave us much more of an insight as to just how hard the people's lives have been since Hurricane Maria.
Our school
The campus of Century Community Charter is a school of many surprises and unique aspects. For one, our students are separated into groups of five at the beginning of each new year, a ceremony of sorts. Much like the separate houses in the Harry Potter series, we have our own names, chants, challenges, and point system. The names of the dens are Missionary (red), Dignitary (purple), Luminary (green), Revolutionary (black), and Visionary (blue). CCCS is also a hands on and project based school that ensures the best education for its students. As said by our principal we may be five dens but we will always be one school.
